I was looking at Task Manager and Vegas dialog box for rendering and was wondering why the CPU usage in the dialog box is way less that what is being shown in Task Manager, while rendering a project.
@Reyfox That's the same Hitfilm I've got, In the past I had problems with Vegas Effects transferring the effect back to Vegas Pro, so I never used it & that's why I only got Edit this time, I just tried Hitfilm & Effects from VP20, both crashed when BCC Looks was added, 😂😂 Doesn't bother me, I'll just carry on not using them apart from Hitfilm that handles my CAD .obj 3D files well, VE does too, I think, I always open Hitfilm for them but HitFilm going subscription was why I tried out V Post. 👍
I don't know for sure as this is part of the code I have not had much dealing with, but if I were to guess, I think the CPU usage in the render progress dialog is probably only taking into account the CPU processing that the rendering of the frame is using but not the decode side of it. Probably need to check with the our File I/O guy about that.
@Gid creating "whatever" in HFP, dragging the HFP file onto the timeline, it has worked for me. If I can streamline the workflow, get rid of the "editing" part of HF, I'd like that. So I am waiting to see what the next iteration of Post will be.
