Most stabilizer software give pretty much comparable results, so why bother right? Obviously the results differ depending on the contend, that is why it is not easy to favor one or another if you have a few in your toolbox, not to mention the different settings one can apply for the more advanced ones.
Here is a quick comparison of the latest Mercalli 6.0, Vegas Mocha + PIP technique and DeshakerRedux (HOS).
It is a handheld shot taken at 600mm equivalent 4K, and then rendered to FHD which crops it in and avoids the black borders generated by the stabilizing.
I personally prefer the Vegas Mocha + PIP, as this does not create extra intermediates and does not need standalone or extra plugin cost as it is available in Vegas pro suite (not in Vegas edit version).
