[VP22 Bug] Keyframe Problem of Color Curves FX

zzzzzz9125 wrote on 9/19/2024, 8:16 AM

In VP22, Color Curves FX does NOT apply the keyframes correctly. Here's the video:

Before I clicked the Animate button, everything worked fine; Once I added a keyframe, the parameters I adjusted were no longer applied to the keyframe and preview in real time. I had to manually add keyframes for the parameters to actually be applied.

The problem should start with VP22. I used 21 build 208 at 2:10 of the video as a comparison and it just works fine.

Using VEGAS Pro 22 build 248 & VEGAS Pro 21 build 208.

@zzzzzz9125, yes, this is a known issue that will - hopefully - be corrected in a future build. Several people have confirmed this issue (I believe it was on facebook?).

You can "make" it work now. You have to change the settings and THEN create the keyframe. If you need to change the first keyframe, create a second keyframe with the desired settings and then move it on top of the first keyframe. And you can't see the changes in the preview window until after adding the keyframe so it's a pain to use keyframes with that effect right now.

@jetdv I know, just like I did at 1:30 of my video. It's a color tool, however, and the effect can't be previewed in real time, which is very fatal. I hope it can be fixed sooner.
