VP9-64 Install Error

While trying to install VP 9.0 64 bit I get the following error: ....\Shared Plug-ins\Audio\mchammer_x64.dll failed to register. HRESULT-2147023898. This happens on 11 other files in the same directory. The only way I can continue the install is to hit the Ignore button when the error pops up. If I try to start the program after the install I get a 'Vegas Pro has stopped' window offering to send error data to Sony. Any suggestions on how to get the program to install correctly? My PC has Vista business 64 installed.

Sounds like you might need to give yourself rights to the directory it's trying to write to

You can try giving youself Full Control on that directory and see if it installs then
