VRO files

Has anyone any ideas as to convert a VRO file into a suitable file that can be used in Vegas Pro 11? I have tried converting into an mpg file but the video splits and freezes at various intervals in the timeline.

VRO files have given me difficulties in the past. Are there any other files on the disc? I have only dealt with this when someone gives me a disc they recorded in VRO mode on a DVD recorder. Make sure the disc is finalized too.

I did a search on my computer for an old vro file and vegas seemed to open it just fine. of course that I think is an exception for this type. Did you try opening it as is?
