VST Effects in Vegas 10

Using Vegas 10 as a DAW (which I sometimes add video to) I find that my VST effects don't show up when I click the "Audio Track FX" tab & then the "Plug-In Chooser". I see a whole lot of audio effects but the VST folder is empty. Those that I'm especially looking for are in the VST folder in Vegas 8 and ACID Pro 7.0. Any idea why they aren't in Vegas 10 and any idea how I can get them into the VST folder in Vegas 10?

Are you running the 32 bit or 64 bit version of Vegas 10?

64 bit Vegas will bridge the 32 bit VSTs you have, but you need to tell Vegas where to find them. This is done on the VST preferences page.

Make sure that you don't set the search path to a large search range - ie dont set it to C:\ or to search your entire Program Files directory. Be very specific such and point to directories you know that your VSTs are located in.
