VST support for CDA

Does anyone have any idea when (or even if) Sony will add VST support to CD Architect? I'm a long time user & fan of CDA for final CD pre-mastering, but I finally upgraded my Waves Mercury bundle to V6, and no longer have DirectX versions to use in CDA. All of Sony's other products are now supporting VST, so surely they must know they need to add VST support to keep the product viable. Nobody uses DirectX anymore... Any recommendations on other CD pre-master apps to use instead? Has anyone tried using Vegas/DVD Architect Pro 5 for authoring Redbook CD's? I bought WaveLab, but hate it... I want to keep using CDA!

Sadly, and totally irrationally for the company that co-developed the CD format (!), CDA seems to be a poor-cousin, and only grudgingly gets very basic updates very occasionally.

I would love VSTs to be supported, as well as rendering in place, and DDP and ISO image saving, and 'active plugin switching' to ease live preview with CPU-heavy plugins, though the latter is less of a problem now that cpu are faster.

+ 1 on everything Geoff said! No, make that +100! C'mon Sony - is CDA going to join the 21st century!?
