I've been working with the demo for the past week in the hopes that it will convince me to buy the real thing. Several things I can't do and it may be the way the demo works. I can get clips into vegas using either my vx200 or pd150 (decks coming later). I can play the individual clips or play them from the time line - 2 minute limit. I cannot insert ANY transistions between clips - is this normal in the demo? I can load new clips from the hard drive and play them with no problem. Tried to record the small movie out to my vx2000. Vegas does recognize the recorder, starts to got thru the motions of rendering the movie, then quits with an error. It doesn't tell me what the error is or what the problem is. I even tried to record just a single clip from the timeline and got the same error message. I was able to record the individual single clips, but not the movie. What I see on the computer monitor looks good, but I would like to see the final product. Any suggestions??
