Just tried to render 60p on my Tungsten and it worked like a charm!

Actually I prefer the PocketPC version. It helps that I have a firewire input to my pocketPC so I managed to plug in a 30GB external drive to it.

It is an awesome way to do those final touches to the video while I am away from my office.

People get so cozy in here, they forget what day it is!!

Don't feel bad, I've fallen for my share too. :)

Ok, I'm not supposed to show you guys this since I am under a NDA, but what the heck, I feel the Vegas users should have a chance to see some of the amazing things that Sony has in store for us. Here is the new Vegas running on a Palm.

I'm more interested in learning how you got your Palm Zire to run Windows...

The new vegas comes with a windows XP emulator that you need to install in order to use the Vegas Palm edition.

Ah. Wow, Sony really thought this one through.

Do they have DVDA available, too?

I don't think they have that yet, mainly they need to figure out how to get a DVD burner crammed into the Palm.
TheHappyFriar wrote on 4/1/2004, 12:29 PM
As I understood it you used a special $300 DVD burner that hooked up via IR or bluetooth.
Jsnkc wrote on 4/1/2004, 12:45 PM
I don't think that IR can handle the data tranfer speeds needed to burn a DVD, but bluetooth might work.

I prefer the one that works on my Nokia cel phone.
