Hi, I am a proud new owner of VegasVideo, gonna use it in conjunction with another NLE. I'm happily surprised by it's power!
Now - a friend of mine using Premiere on Storm is bit of dissapointed of his own system. He said after some months of working with Storm he realized a realtime preview would be very sufficient, no need to spend money to have a realtime full-resolution dv-output. And Premiere as the bundled editing-software steels some of the time which can be saved with realtime-fx.
So he is interested to test the VegasVideo-demo on his Storm system.
What are your experiences?
Does VegasVideo work at all on Storm (I know Storm would no longer provide all it's realtime facilities)?
Are there any problems to be expected if both Premiere and VegasVideo would be installed on a Storm system?
Or is it a must to deinstall the Storm-card to replace it with an OHCI-FireWire-card before installing VegasVideo?
