I was just wondering if VV3 has any Pentium 4 optimizations (for things like SSE2, etc.)? The reason I ask is that I just upgraded from a P 3 1 GHz processor to a Pentium 4 2.2 Ghz system (with PC 2100 DDR).

Some things seem 2-2.3 times faster (like rendering track FX filters), while rendering to MPEG-2 (NTSC DVD) seems to have only improved about 1.6X.

I was wondering if this is due to lack of P4 optimization in the MPEG-2 stuff, or some other factor (including the possibility I got my numbers wrong...).
