VV3 and Hercules GTXP: good or not?

I'd like to replace my Crapative Live!Value sound card with a Hercules GameTheatreXP. I'd mainly use it for instrument recording on different projects but I'd like a card with good files management/sound/3D too. Is there anybody that got this combination? Satisfied? I'd also like some comments from musicians who are using this card too, if there's any of you... thanks!

I used the GTXP last summer on a job with VV2, it had great sound quality and I loved the breakout box(much nicer than the Audigy Platinum breakout box).

I think you'll really like the GTXP, though the new Audigy's do have a next gen DSP.
