VV3 vs AcidPro3 as environments for music

I have both VV3 and AcidPro3. Normally I do all my audio in Acid, but am lately using lots of long one-shot tracks. I'm waiting for my P4 to start complaining as the tracks mount up, but so far it's OK.

Should I just move to VV3 ? I don't like to switch from app to app when working unless I have to, so I wondering whether I should just do everything in VV3 ?

Has anyone here made "the change" like this ? Any opinions on the differences in working with audio in the two apps ?

thanks

Vegas has non of the loop based tools that Acid does. It won't sync up tempo and pitch. But if all you're using is one shots, like sound effects, Vegas is perfectly geared for that.

Personally I find both apps indispensible.
