VV4: Jerky playback from timeline, ok PTT.

Trying VV4, put a capture DV clip in te timeline, without effects or anything.

Enabling external monitor and playing it back, it reproduced the video "jerky", but the audio was OK.

I think could be a problem because my audio card is a matrox DigiSuite (no external PCI card) and because Digisuite aren't 100% DirectSound compatible.

That could be the problem?

When doing a PrintToTape everything works fine, but the audio was rendered to W64 for that process.

Any ideas? tried looking using the search but can't find anything specific...

I have had this problem with vegas 3 & 4
4 seems a little better in this area but will still get jumps(unless ptt)
Issue never has been resolved to me,, however I live with it,, could be my chip set,firewire card, graphics card , converter box, ....................
May not be a vegas issue ,,but a hardware issue.
