logged in on all systems on the network? Using a switch, not a hub?

Spot,

Yes & Yes. Using a Linksys Gigabit switch with Gigabit cards on both boxes. I thought it might be due to having MPEG-2 sources in the project, but a test of just simple WAV to WAV rendering gave the same results...

Check the thread a few pages back on network rendering.

JJ,

I have read through all of the previous posts on the subject, but none of them seem to address a situation where everything is setup properly and only allowed formats are being used but the process still stays stuck at "queued"

Thanks

just a thought , you sure in the render node options , that rendering is enabled ?

B_JM,

Yes - but thanks for asking! It seems that I can get it to work if I install the full version of Vegas on the renderer as well. I would expect this with MPEG-2 or MP3 content, but even WAV files wouldnt start over the network with the render-only version installed.

WHich version of Vegas are you running? Is it the trial version? Network rendering is not supported in the trial version.
