W7/32 oddities

A7.0c 'straight' - spacebar will not start/stop playback.

Running in XPsp3 compatibility mode, spacebar works OK.

However doing almost anything in a plugin chain, windows brings up a 'Windows Help and Support' message saying that V9 cannot supply help on this item because of unsupported help system. Can be cleared and proceed until a different item is selected i the chain, then back to 'Help..."

Anybody else ?

Yes, I had this with 9c in Vista x64. Due to winhlp.exe no longer being part of Windows.

For a solution to the help issue, see http://support.microsoft.com/kb/917607.

I found that if 9c is run in XP compatibility mode, then I received an error that a dll file was corrupt, but Vegas still ran perfectly.

Thanks ! The winhlp32.exe fixed it . But why did it keep triggering 'Help' ?
