Hey guys,
Is it possible to get a script to have a docked window, and display timecode and video preview?
Im trying to get another monitor running (already have an external monitor for video reference), so I would have a total of 3 displays. Vegas has no way of supporting a 3rd display for video preview, so was thinking of writing a script to do this.
Possible or just impractical?
Unfortunately, this is not possible. The Script API is just for automating what can already be done with manual steps. It has no access to the video preview or a way to generate another one.

I'm not exactly clear what you are trying to do, but I have 3 displays. 1. is a video preview 2. is the Vegas timeline and 3. can be used for any other dockers that I pull over, although I try to stick to one monitor.
