Rendering audio works fine here. No crashes. Tried with a large project +100 audio channels.

This is pretty much being discussed on the Video side of the forum.

But it is completely predictable.

I rolled back to the earlier version, and everything works just fine.

With 511, it crashes every time I try to include audio in my video render, or if I try to do an audio render by itself.

Once I get done with this project, I am going to try again and see if I can take my sound card, and GPU out of the equation.

Same with me. Cannot render (using 32bit or 64bit versions). Not a plugin issue, as I have no plugins other than the Sony EQ that comes with Vegas. cannot render. Crashes during render of audio file. Simple session: music edit, 1 stereo track only . Can I revert to prior 'build' or do I need to uninstall Vegas and reinstall the prior build? Oy.

Same here...
Can't render audio AT ALL. Instant crash EVERY TIME!

For the first time since the 511 update I was able to render audio. I disabled ALL midi in the preferences, which includes my Mackie Control, and closed and re-opened Vegas. Render worked.
