This message appears whenever I attempt to make a DVD with DVD Architect Pro 5.
"Invalid data was encountered when processing an MPEG file."
I am trying to re-author a DVD using VOB files extracted and concatenated from another DVD. What's odd is that this message does not occur if I do not concatenate the VOB's. However, there's a slight gap and hesitation as the DVD switches to the next title if I don't concatenate the VOB's. This is for a widescreen DVD.
I'm concatenating the VOB's using a command line. I also tried VOB2MPG, and got the same result. I tried concatenating them in Vegas Pro 9, but for some reason Vegas wanted to re-encode the files. What's more, I ended up with a gap where the two VOB's were joined. I've tried this for three different DVD's, so I doubt the problem lies in the files themselves.
I have no trouble creating a DVD from these files using Windows DVD Maker in Windows 7 64-bit.
I've tried running DVD Architect Pro as an Administrator, and that didn't solve the problem, either. Any ideas?
