WARNING: Be aware of the Stuck Shift Key!!

I just opened Vegas and placed some generated media on the t/l. Could I move it? Could I . . . . . . !£$%""!

I was about to throw a tantrum, AND was about to do a Factory Default power-up of Vegas when I tried to depress the SHIFT key . . .

Moral of story? If you have builders in, make sure you tape-up, CSI-style, your edit space first! - Stuck Shift - No Shift or move . . .

. . back in business . . .

Shouldn't the title have been:

"BEWARE OF THE STUCK SHIFT KEY"?

Bob.

I'm sure you've fallen for that one before Grazie.

Yes! I had a keyboard for a long while where standard procedure every time i sat down at the workstation was to pound the left shift key a few times to loosen it up before attempting anything else.

Not really a shift key issue, but I've had the working end of a small screwdriver sitting on the ESC key with just enough pressure to activate it ... all the other keys worked fine ... but nothing typed or worked ... (sigh) ... yes, I keep a messy desk ... (blush)
As I lifted the keyboard up to see if the connection was good ... the screwdriver fell off... my son had a good laugh over it - I joined him ... after a little while . . . (grin)
