Waste money on Vegas?

Hello, so today Vegas annoyed me so hard.

1. This software didn't support export mixed frame rate XML
2. I was exporting .prproj for Adobe Premiere to import it on timeline in APP and then I needed to export XML which was working fine in DaVinci
3. Today I was exporting like always my project from Vegas to APP and it didn't export it well. I have all the time some kind of error and I cannot import projekt into APP to export it into XML because Vegas have some bad days? I don't know what is going on.

Support don't answer me on my questions. They answer like "We are working on it" or something other not hepling answers. They think that I am kind of newbie in video edit software and they was sending me how I need to setup my project settings {LOL}.

After months when I bought Vegas Pro 15 I came to the conclusion that I waste a lot of money for this software. I bought it in first days when it was started and to this days we don't have any update which improve XML export (I had answer like 2 months ago that they are working on it). Vegas is often crashing when I press ctrl+z before when I was sending bug report support answer for maybe 2 days after I sent it. Now? They do nothing.

So I can say that - I was almost 900$, for me (student) it was so big price but I hoped that will be good software. I was working before on trials and on my studies and I really liked it but now? I hate it so much. They do nothing to repair this bugs.

Maybe you guys can help me. How can I export XML with mixed framerates (50fps and 25fps - 50fps clips are all in slowmotion 50%) that I could open it into DaVinci Resolve.

The frame rate is a clip property. How could an XML table have influence on it?

Ask them - not me. Why when I export XML from Vegas and import it into DaVinci all my clips with 50fps are gone. I was talking with Blackmagic support and we agreed that there is something wrong with Vegas export.
When I was exporting XML from APP it was working fine so...

Yes, of course it is working fine.
in APP and in DaVinci I cannot open it.

EDIT: except that my tracks are in another order than in original project and I have every sound track x2 - it is working fine.

So as a student you spent $900 on an NLE so you could import into another NLE? What does APP do that you can't do in Vegas? Has it worked before?

I don't know what APP have to export XML well.

Exporting into .prproj was working great one week before. I wasn't do anything with Vegas and today it doesn't work.

Was there an update to APP? I assume you are using the subscription version and they could have had an update that affects the .prproj import.

Guess not because old .prproj which I imported one week before it is opening well

This could be due to different composting levels in different NLE. Some read the track order reverse to Vegas Pro.

I know that.
But I said when I import it into Vegas (XML exported from Vegas) I have another order but it's not a problem. The problem is that we don't have working XML export with mixed framerates. What's the point for selling product which not have this when most of NLE have it in their engine.
I know... I could buy other software but I didn't want. I liked Vegas for their flexible solutions like cross dissolve when I drop clip-on-clip.

And now like I said before export into .prproj is not working...

Yep. And I solve this by exporting project into premiere and then I was exporting xml but now I am not able to export prproj so I am really f*cked right now

While this does not solve the actual problem – if it would work with exports from VP14 you maybe could share your VP15 project file with someone owning VP14 who then could make the XLM/PRPROJ files for you, until there is a chance to fix this issue.

I don't have Vegas 14 and I don't have money for older software.
And if I am working on Vegas 15 and send project from V15 to anyone who have V14 they will not be able to open it because of older software version.

no problem ;)
but I have protip for you. If you have V15 and V14 on the same PC you don't need to export project from V15 to xml or another format. You can select all clips in V15 -> press ctrl+c -> turn on V14 -> press ctrl+v and you have your entire project from V15 in V14 ;)
But... I don't have V14...
