Watermark Help

Hi,
I have a watermark .PNG file that I am trying to place in the lower left corner of my videos. The problem I am having is that I can only resize it so much, and I want to make it smaller.

I use event pan/crop to go to 16:9, which is what the video is in, then I drag the box as wide as I can and the logo is still too big for my liking. I am stuck! Help! Thanks.

When you go into Pan/Crop do scroll-down as the first thing - that minimizes the media and makes it possible to draw the resizing further.

If this is not enough - then Solo that track and do Save Snapshot to file - and then resize this new picture further.

Go into the width/height settings (found under Position) and enter a new number.
For large images, I've had to use 5,000, sometimes higher.
As long as Lock Aspect Ratio is on, changing one will affect the other.
To get more room to work with, change the Zoom setting (under Workspace).
BTW, it'll only go down to 12.5%.

Or start with a smaller .png

...or use Track Motion and it will let you make it so small you can hardly see it. (it's the perfect tool for this sort of thing)

Best solution I've found for this is to go into Photoshop and resize it using a 720x480 Video Template. I then bring this .png into Vegas on the top layer.

I do this because I've found that resizing in Vegas sometimes leaves a bit to be desired quality wise. By doing it in Photoshop I feel that I am using less resources in Vegas plus I already know that I have the most perfect looking watermark I'm gonna get.
