Watermark on final prodct

Another problem I seem to be having is that when I render to MPEG2 I have a watermark that appears in the upper right hand corner of my video. It kinda looks like a rubik's cube. Except is is all white. It has 3 rows and 3 columns of squares. And the top right corner square has a black dot in the center of it. The whoie thing is probably as big as the refresh button on your explorer toolbar. Has anyone else seen this or know how to get rid of it?

Some backgrounb, I originally downloaded the trial version and then bought the original. However, I haven't yet received the "packaged version" from Sony so I called them and they gave me a serial number for screenblast and an activation code for the main concept MPEG encoder. So I am fully functional, but it is still the trial version. It doesn't say it is trial. But what I mean is that I have not reinstalled off of a disc or anything. I'm wondering if the Watermark is a trial version thing, and I just need to wait for the packaged version to show up. to do a clean install. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

When you see the watermark, it is the trial version. The four white squares will eventually be clear and start to dance around the screen when the trial period is out.

I would wait for the packaged version in order to do a clean install.

The Trial version is 100% ready to go once you enter the Serial Number (Help->Enter Serial Number) You'll never need to install the Packaged version. All it takes is the SN.

Trials don't allow licensed products such as mpeg and there's no way you could ever render to mpeg without the license. You'd never get mpegs. If you already own the mpeg license (say from Sony Sound Forge), it's yours and you can use it in the Trial without any limitations.

I've not seen any white square watermarks. When we used to have Demo versions we'd flash a full frame solid Sonic Foundry logo every so often. I've no idea why you have these. I guess you could try to repair the installation and see if that helps.

Are you seeing that watermark when you play the mpeg-2 on a TV or is it just on the PC? From memory, that logo is produced by the Elecard mpeg player.
