The colors in VP15 are a lot more difficult to the eye than in VP14. If you look at the attachment. One wave is dark colored on a white background, while the other wave is lightcolored on a dark background...very diffusing to match when working with 4 or more audiotracks.

One is selected and one isn't. That's the same behaviour as VP14 except the highlighting is reversed, and you can change that with Options > Preferences > Display > Reverse Event Background Color.

If the audio you want to move is grouped with video, then you can deselect the whole event and drag it by its thumbnails area. Then the colors of the waveforms should match each other.

I do indeed have to select tracks to work it Nick....and that's now precizely what i find confusing when working with.

Not sure what you mean by "tracks", but I don't think you mean "tracks" by the Vegas meaning.

Are you effectively saying that you want waveforms to be the same colour whether they are selected or not?
