I'm not going to tell you the drawing algorithm. Part of the fun is figuring out what it's doing on your own, and then adapting your drawing method to work with it.

Here's the first few thousand frames: http://www.magicyaks.com/closedraw1.wmv
The first half is kinda sketchy, then i decided to double the thickness of the lines.

i'll compile another video after more frames are added.

Note that there's only one project that everyone shares. That means that if you decide to do some drawing you might end up fighting against (or maybe cooperating with) someone else who's drawing in your frames at the same time.

Yep, very off topic indeed.

Kelly this is amazing!

The simple yet relentless unfolding of who knows what works as a powerful metaphor.

Kelly, I accessed the "first few thousand frames" .wmv a few weeks ago, and now everytime I open my browser, WMediaPlayer opens up in its own window and the animation plays.
Any idea how to turn this off?

Sounds to me like you set that URL to be your browser's "home page".

No, Media Player opens as a separate window, not in the browser. I use Opera, and have about 50 URL tabs open by default, but none of them is connected to your animation, yet it opens Media Player on its own, each morning when I open the browser.

Another of life's great mysteries .....
