Way OT: Wireless Router "Allow-Only" List

Because I consider you guys to be the gurus of just about everything computer-related, I'm asking this question here.

Just got DSL at home and set up my wireless network. The netgear wireless router allows me to block access to web sites by keyword. I want to go one step further and create a list of sites that my children can visit -- an "allow-only" list.

Does anyone know of a wireless router that offers this feature?

There is various software that can do this. Also, routers have these features (my Netgear router has it). However, I gave up trying to use it because it has so many unintended consequences. The problem is that most sites have links to other sites (such as ads). Even if you allow access to the main site, the links to the other sites are blocked.

Your best bet for the kids will be to used blocking software. Here's a link to get you started:

There are lots of software products out there. I use Cybersitter, which was highly rated on some of the review sites last year when I installed it. Works great, very friendly.
