I'm not sure about how you do it automatically, but you do know about that little Icon right above the preview window on the far right, don't you?

Ultimate S won't create a storyboard, but it will allow you to capture frames based on how often you instruct it to, including one frame per frame if you wish (30 frames per second) and you can specify the interval between frames to be grabbed within a selection.
There are also free frame grabbing tools on the VASST site, also have a look at Edward Troxel's site for a tutorial on grabbing frames.

DSE:
Will the Ultimate "S" work with the Moviestuff Workprinter 16 at 6 frames per second capture? This is the 16mm projector modified to transcribe film to dv camera to Vegas. The website is www.moviestuff.tv/wp_16.html

I'm not sure what you mean by "work with it?" It will extract frames from video captured with the Workprinter, but that's it. Ultimate S will only within Vegas, it's never a standalone application. It requires Vegas' engine to run.

They call for special software to capture at the 6 frames per second. It costs about $70.00. Adobe Premier works ok they say but nothing about Vegas and I wonder why. I'm not sure how they are doing this and even why you need special capturing software.
