Well, there's a thing!

After some productive emailing this last week, our Frameserver Creator - Satish - is on the case and is currently working on the Vegas9 Frameserver!

What a nice man .. a very nice man!

i'm always surprised that in these days of unadulterated greed and self-centredness there are people like satish around who give so freely.

that is not to diminish the great amount of help and 'scripts' that float around here from equally generous souls.....

Isn't that the purpose of "community"?

Thanks to all that share!

We are so lucky that so many give so much without charge...we are lucky Vegas users!

Satish, do you have a donate link on your site? You could set one up via Paypal. I for one would be happy to donate to your work to get you some compensation for your excellent efforts.

I've never had the need to use his frameserver but regardless indeed Satish is a HUGE benefit to this community and for sure send the guy some money.
I'm still wondering just like I was back when he first wrote his code why in the world something so vital is being left to the generosity of one man.

Here's to hoping that Satish is making progress on getting the frameserver working with Vegas Pro 9! His frameserver is AWESOME, and there's definitely a need for it.

I can get away with using the MainConcept encoder for 2-pass VBR MPEG-2 up to a little over 1.5 hours, but when I'm going to two hours, or even a little beyond, I need my TMPGEnc for that. And I hate needing to render out to an AVI to get it in there.
