Websites with Colour Correcting Examples?

In my continuing education on all things CC, please direct me to sites that not just show the "HOW" but also the "WHY". This is not such a naive question as it first appears. So, if you know of such sites, please direct me to them. Notwithstanding the excellent tutorials out there, I would like to see examples of BEFORE and AFTER on maybe well know films and the technical/artistic/aesthetic/narrative reasons WHY cc is done.

ps: "Limey" relates to the geological chalk feature of our White Cliffs of Dover, which is the first thing seen by those crossing to the UK via the nearest, which is Calais - France - some 21 miles away from Dover - ok? Hence the term "Limey" = Lime <> Calcium Carbonate <> Chalk <> "White Cliffs of Dover"

There's a good book on this out there - that is available at Amazon.com (and other places) that goes into great detail on color correction and (as it sounds) something that you might be interested in - $40/$50 US. *I think* I think the author is Adam Wilt ????

Dave - thanks for that. I've had this Amazon page printed off for a week .. meaning to go to my bookshop to raise an order .. they do do good deals. My idea was to get some website links for some examples of where the use - maybe streaming - was being employed to explain CC.

In addition to his books, Steve Hullfish has written some great articles for DV.COM. In fact the website has a treasure trove of information in it's archives. Sign up if you haven't already been to the website in the past.

If you haven't already read them, any of the articles written by Adam Wilt are also very compelling.

And let's not forget all the Vegas specific helpful color correction articles written for all of us by Billyboy
