Sorry I can't stop and buy you a beer, Ed. Excalibur has been a great tool for me.

Driving out on a pretty tight schedule - flying back.

Maybe on another trip...

filling in an incredibly long, complicated funding form!

i don't mind being an indie, in fact, after years of working for others, i'm actually enjoying being my own boss / one man band. but what i hate, and really miss from pro life is the ep, or other specialist who'd spend most of their creative life filling in such forms!

i've done a few indie productions since i 'retired', all of which made some money, not oodles, but enough for me to say smugly i can make a living from them. but i want to move on, and i have some great ideas based around these (so there is an audience out there) - but they won't have the same mass purchasing appeal, hence the need for funding for tv.

in aus. we have a number of govern. and state offices that dole out such grants / funds, but they're geared to the select few, and though i'm known, i'm not that well known to be given money!!! but really, you should see some of the crap that gets it (and the sort of crap i used to work on).

anyone out there want to start a thread about video art?

head down and running for cover....

Gearing up for a private screening of my first feature on Sunday 8/14. If interested, you can view the trailer: Hi Rez | Lo Rez

Great trailer, Jessariah, thanks for posting it. I would choose to see this feature, if it was screened near my residence. Otherwise I wait for the DVD.

Just curious, what program and settings did you use to create the trailer WMV file ? For 521 kbps bit rate, the picture quality was excellent!
