I have to say I've never found the time compress/expand
feature in Vegas to work very well. I always get that
hollow flanging effect, even on the smallest of increments.
I think it's really optimized for drums and small loops. I
tried it on a voice over and even compressing a voice over
from 29 to 30 seconds or vice versa sounds terrible to me.
Maybe there's something we're missing?
