Today when I started a new project in Vegas, I noticed some weird things happening.
For example, the Group/Ungroup function isn't working right. When I highlight the audio track in a clip and hit "U", and then delete the audio, the whole clip gets deleted. When I do the same thing using Group > Remove From, again both video and audio get deleted. Even when the audio and video are grouped together, when I trim the Event start or end points, the only piece that gets trimmed in the piece I have grabbed with the cursor (i.e., if I happen to hover over the video and drag the event end to the left, only the video portion of the clip gets shortened, as if the video is detached from the audio, which it is supposedly not.
Another odd thing is that the Ripple function doesn't seem to be working. When I drag the end of a video clip to make it longer, it creates a crossfade with the subsequent clip, even though Ripple is turned on.
Windows 10 underwent an update today, and I'm wondering if it is possible that it could have introduced a bug? (Sorry, I'm not super tech savvy.)
Wondering if anyone else has experienced these sorts of issues and can give me some advice as to how to resolve them.
Thanks!
