I'm in VP10e and, following the same steps as in my last procedure, I can't make the CSP Menu "respond" as it did. I wanted to adjust and add further KB commands.
One of the things i see that confirms you are in the correct profile (for your app) is press a shuttle button. When you press any button on the shuttle (or turn the jog) you should see this show up in the shuttle menu editor - then edit the button you pressed.
Any joy?
No Paul, that's exactly what's happenning, or rather NOT happening. However, it is still working in VP. I can't change a button, 'cos it's not highlighting, but the same button IS working in VEGAS - eh?
Sounds like the wrong profile is selected. The dropdown box (top left) should show your current selected profile. eg. I have 2 for vegas, one for the 32bit version and another for the 64. And if i select the wrong one, i get what you get - my settings dont change Vegas - because its wrong Vegas. (check target .exe)
Here are my settings have used them for a while, for the editing I do most of the time they seem to work quite quickly.
I am teaching my wife to use Vegas ( she has been a Pinnacle Studio user for years) but she has finaly seen the light and wants more power, She has just started to use my shuttle and it is awkward for her but she is getting the hang of it and is starting to see the speed increase with using it.
My latest v11 weirdness is that if I have the Pan/Crop tool open while working on the timeline, and I turn the Contour Shuttle knob past the "Shuttle in Right 3" setting (the third speed step), when I let the knob go back to its rest position my focus in Vegas jumps to the Pan/Crop window.
The Focus on timeline key at least balances out this odd behavior.

Cold Ones.
There are different settings for rotating the shuttles left and right, maybe there is some strange keystroke in there.
