Here's a question, I don't know if it can be done or not, but I just thought I would ask and see. I currently sell video production loops (like Digital Juice) I currently put 100 clips on a DVD-ROM. The clips are about 36MB each (10 second clips) They are a DV AVI files. Is there any way I could get these clips down to about 6.5-7MB each so I could fit them all on 1 CD-ROM instead of 1 DVD ROM? I would like to keep them as avi's if possible in the 720 X 480 size and 29.97fps. I would also like it to be a codec that most people would already have on their computer, or that would automaticaly be downloaded if you tried to open them up in Windows Media Player.
Basically I want to keep the good quality of the files, but be able to distribute them on CD instead of DVD.
