JVC SR-VS30U (mini DV/VHS combo)

Edit: I am getting glitches with this deck during capture so I've had to start using one of my Canon XL1s' until the problem is resolved. There were some that were blaming Vegas for the glitches but they're now thinking it is a grounding problem when connected to the PC (plays fine without the firewire connected).

In Canada, the list is over $5K. I got a GREAT deal at $4.3K.
Sure it's a lot of "luuuuuuve", but I try to buy just one big item when I get a well paid gig to add to "the studio".

Cheers,
Tom

I also have a JVC DV600A. A very flexible deck, I chose it primarily because of having component In an and out allows me me to input good quality into my old Perception card on another PC as well as Vegas

For DV I primarily use the DSR 1500a, or one of the following cameras:

PD150
PD150p
DVX0100
PDX10
570WSL

DSR Du1- I use that from time to time as well. If you want to try our new/beta reader plugin for that, please contact tech support and we'll email it to you.

We also have tons of other decks and cameras spread throughout the developer and QA team.

Welp, I ordered my DSR-25 and I'm thrilled to hear your positive reaction.

So I'm to assume functionality wise with Vegas 4, it's fine?
