What defines the names in the drop down list?

In the drop down list of menus and objects which is directly under the File menu and standard icon bar, what defines the names that appear for Menus and such. I have a project where a couple of the pages have names but the rest just say Menu. As far as I can tell I created all menu items the same way so how did one of them get a name change. The names are actually the same as the text that links to them. But nothing I do seems to affect the names of the other menu pages. It would be helpful in navigation if I could name all of them in that drop down list.

The objects take on their file name by default. So if you drop on a file that's named myfile-A, that's the initial name it takes. To change, go to the menu page the object appears, right click, then edit the text as you wish. When you or the application creates a menu page, that generates a text box. Edit it the same way.

DVD-A works similar to a desktop publishing program when objects (text, graphics) appear in a box that can be sized by dragging the box's handles. Sizes can also be changed if you check view transform bar. If you're use to desktop publishing, its fairly simple concept. If not, it takes a little getting use to.
