What did I do wrong?

I created a DVD scene selection menu whose links were text only & they all worked. On the DVD that was burned the scene selection menu comes up ok & works but very text box is just covered with a white box. If use my remote I can scroll around the page ok & I get to see the chapter names as I go. Only one text name is ever displayed at once.

What did I do wrong to get the blank white boxes rather than all of the text displayed?

You didn't do anything "wrong".....you just didn't choose the highlight method that you wanted (I think it defaults to a white box).

Check to see that you don't have "menu page properties/ inactive button colors set to "none / transparent ". This makes it so that buttons are invisible (text or otherwise) until you select them with whatever cursor highlight you have set up.

Also try setting the button properties highlight style to underline.
