What Do I Do? Video track colour

jemma-s wrote on 3/16/2017, 5:14 AM

I put an effect on the video track to make the photo black and white and I decided to add a blue teardrop photo on top of the video track that was black and white. When I added the teardrop photo it was black and white. The photo was originally blue and it's on a different track then the video that I made black and white so I do not know how to get the rid of the effect. When I click on the media effects it has no black and white effect on it so I do not know why it's black and white.

Hopefully you understand what I am trying to say.

I am using Sony Vegas Pro 13.

Effects can be added at media level, project level, track level or event level. Sounds like it would be best for you to apply these effects at event level (i.e. to individual clips on the timeline), which you can get to by clicking the icon in the lower right of the thumbnails on the timeline. If you previously added the B&W effect in a different place (media, project or track) then remove it from there.

If you want everything on a track to have the same effect then apply the effect in the track header to the left of the timeline instead of on the event.

Thank you for the help! I checked on the track events and it had the b&w effect
