I can't remember this, but I know that if I hold something I open the advanced preferences for Vegas. I have a few settings to adjust now that I am on 13, but can't remember the button!
Ah that's the problem. I was staring at the internal tab wondering where the "advanced" one was!!
So what I was looking for wasn't in there, but I am looking to shut off the option of editing sound clips below the frame. Often I make a change in a sound file and then Post-Edit-Ripple the rest of the media to follow... BUT what I didn't realize is that (of course) then I end up with a lot of media starting or stopping in between frames. Yuck.
Know how to do that Xberk?

If you are talking about Quantizing to frames, under the Preferences>Editing
There is an option to NOT quantize to frames when editing audio only. This might be what you want.
