What do I need to do to get my shortcuts to save?

I had them set up last night. I launch vegas this am and press the key and nothing happened. Is this common? Do I need to refresh the inis. This is the fourth time that I have set the shortcuts up on thiis computer.

I can't import settings from V6. I wonder if there's a connection.
I trust you saved your hotkey setup, does it load by default on a new project?
