What happened to RENDER?!

Dear Sonic Fountry Team:

I've just downloaded the beta 3 and have noticed problems
that weren't there before.

The main one is the mix to preview, save as .wav and mix to
new track feature (in one word: "render").

The fact is that the thing I hear when I'm building the
project is extremely different than what I hear when I
render the project.

I mean, while I'm hearing tight bass and present vocals in
the project sound, the vocal goes out and the bass goes
thin and weak in the rendered one. And, the drums remains
the same, so something is happening.

I then uninstalled the beta 3 and re-installed the beta 2.

The problem was gone. What happened?

Also, there is a problem that have been present in all
three versions.

I make a project with a modest number of 5 to 8 tracks,
recording first a stereo file from my workstation (to
prevent problems with sync, that is another issue), that is
as long as the song.

Then, I start to make vocal overdubs, and everything works
fine. But when I try to hear the entire project at once,
it begins to "skate" after 2 minutes or so. I've never
heard an entire song, from start to end without having to
stop it in the middle of it because of that weird thing.

Am I doing something wrong? Am I missing something?

I have a Pentium II 350 MHz with 64 Mb RAM, Intel
MotherBoard, Seagate Medalist 6 Gb HDD, windows 95 OSR 2.1
with USB support, DirectX 6.1 and Direct Media 6.0
installed, and my YAMAHA soundcard has the last drivers,
validated for DirectX 6.1.

Ah! I defrag my HDD every weekend.

What can be wrong?

Thanks.
