Do you mean billable hours software or appointment and due date software? I use ACT! for scheduling appointments, keeping track of customers, prospects, suppliers, writing form letters. Check it out at:

You get it for less at most online software providers.
Goldmine also works well.
I use Intuit QuickBooks Pro for financials, invoicing, inventory, etc.
Don't really use a billable hours software. I just set the costs with the customer up front. If I need to increase/decrease then I discuss it with the customer prior to completion of the project or delivery.
