I am using the Blue-Ray video stream format. What is the preferred audio format for Blue-Ray (and I assume you have the two files in the same directory with the same name and the the DVD app will combine them?

Dolby Digital Pro .ac3 if space and surround sound matters. Wav if stereo and you want the most accurate audio.

Is multi channel PCM an option for blu-ray?

Is there a way to create Dolby True HD?

Thanks,

It's an option for Blu-ray, but apparently not for DVD Architect 5.2.

The prob with WAVEFORMATEX [ http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/windows/desktop/dd390970%28v=vs.85%29.aspx ] is that it still has the same file size limitations as any .wav file -- generally you start having problems as you approach 1/2 an hour's worth. Sony's wave 64 does work great however until you do the final render to 5.1 AC3.

VP 12's AC3 encoder setup does include options for stuff like 7.1 -- I don't know how you'd use it, or how well it works if you get it to work, but it's there if you want to experiment.
