What is differernce between white and blue Fx plug-ins?

Why are some plug-ins marked with a blue icon and some with a white icon? See attached image.

@Rich Parry From my observation, the white ones are all VST plugins. Go to Preferences -> VST Effects to find the VST paths scanned by VEGAS Pro.

At present, the vast majority of audio plugins are provided in the form of VST2 and VST3. These are generally supported by VEGAS Pro. However, VEGAS Pro still doesn't support VSTi and the ARA mode of VST3.

Using VEGAS Pro 22 build 250 & VEGAS Pro 21 build 208.
