Hi,
Now that I got the external DVD-ROM drive to recognize the install disc, and I've successfully opened the files inside, my question is which .exe file should I click on first in order to the "Movie Studio Platinum, version 14" program?
There's a 'VEGAS_Movie_Studio_14_Platinum.exe' file & a 'NewBlue_VEGAS_Movie_Studio_14_Platinum_Complete.exe' file.
What's the difference? Which one is closer to what I want? It seems the word "complete" implies that the "Platinum_Complete.exe" file should give me more than the one that just says "Platinum.exe". However the "complete" file is only 145mb in size, while the one that doesn't say "complete" is 472mb in size. I would think it should be the opposite, and that the one that says "complete" would be the larger file... wouldn't one think? Yet ironically it isn't.
So I don't know which to install first, or do I want to install both, or do I want to install one or the other, but not both?
Now, I'll assume that the "Magix Music Maker" & "DVD Architect" are stand alone, optional add-ons whose purposes are fairly self-explanatory, but the first two I mentioned that both say " Movie Studio Platinum" are the ones whose differentiation confuses me.
Any help in choosing the right .exe file to open first and getting me started would be appreciated.
Thanks, John
