Verified here on Firefox 3.5 and IE 6.
They have periodic issues with their server which I'm sure will be resolved soon.

Yeh, checked again just now & still can't get in, what's up with these guys? 24 hrs of downtime?

Frustrating as I bought the Ultimate S on the 31st, figuring I could learn it yesterday and today for a project. Had heard many good things here about it.

It's up now.
Maybe they let their domain reg. lapse.
;?)

Yeh, checked again just now & still can't get in, what's up with these guys? 24 hrs of downtime?I was going to do some research to purchase Ultimate S Pro or Lite but they were still down last night, now am skeptical how legit and safe it is to order from this site. Did they get hacked? Are they a garage operation?

Just a little concerned as I work in IT as a network engineer for a medium sized financial corporation and take security and up time VERY seriously, VASST's length of downtime would have been unacceptable. If there were a legit explanation that would be nice but nothing.

They are a legitimate organization of people with solid reps in the A/V field. Don't know what is the problem with their website.

The download of the demo S/W for USPro is a bit under 9MBytes. I downloaded it on Dec 30. If you can take an email attachment of that size I can send it to you. You can contact me via my profile email link.

Bryon K,
Understand your concern. However, I can assure you, they are legit and in fact, one of the core supporters of the Vegas community for years. Every year they are co-sponsors with Sony and others for the Vegas party at NAB and have given tremendously to this community. As for why their site was down I'm not sure but I doubt it's because they were hacked. I've ordered litterally hundreds of dollars of software and hardware training DVD's/books from them and never had a problem that they didn't get fixed immediately. In fact, I just ordered the Light 'em Up DVD over the holidays and have received it already. Order with confidence.

Just tried on my PC and iPhone... get this:

Database Error: Unable to connect to the database:Could not connect to MySQL

Am I doing something wrong. Used the link they sent with my purchase on Dec 31st AND typed a new one. Same result.

I know they have a good history and there was the founder accident, but this is BS. I may just cancel the purchase unless it is on my side.
