Yea, I warn people about the trial version. The first night I used it, I spent hours on my project, then found out I could not save it. I was so mad that I bought Video Factory... (not really, I found out something...I loved it).
I think they are thinking ahead of the game. SF does not spend too much money on advertising and packaging their product with every device they can think of, just to get you to upgrade to another newer (buggy) version.

They care about the end user, you and I. It is proven!

A few other things disabled in the demo version are CD burning, MPEG importing (MPEG-1 is included with the program, MPEG-2 requires purchasing the plug-in), and print-to-tape.
