What's the secret?

My God,

I have finally gotten into the forum. I have been trying for two days. It keeps reloading the forum list page when I click on a forum. What's going on?
I noticed on "The Cow" that others have had the same problem and I doubt that I will be able to get back in here to read the response after this.
I tried repeatedly to get in for two straight hours tonight and finally did, but when I tried to go to DVDA I ran into the same problem.
The only way I was able to post this was to use my "back" button until I was able to enter into the forum backwards.
I hope this is just temporary because I really do enjoy the forum.

SoFo/Sony is just updating the forum. Growing pains. I'm sure it will be back to normal shortly.

There is a little bug in the web page. When I open it up (from my Favorites) and click on a topic (like Vegas Video Topics), the web page sends me to the following link:
http://mediasoftware.sonypictures.com/forums/default.asp/ShowTopics.asp?ForumID=4
I then go into the address bar on Explorer and edit this line just a bit: delete the "default.asp" in the middle of the line and ONE of the slashes around it. The forum works nicely then.

Another work around is to go to products-vegas where there is a direct link to vegas video topics. Thats how I've been getting in here.

I had the same problem. While on the phone with Sony I found that I could get to the proper forum list by going through SUPPORT-FORUMS.
I guess my desktop shortcut wasn't any good.
Once I got to the right forums page, I created a desktop shortcut for it and I've been able to read all postings since then.

I just went to Sofo Website, clicked on forums, the made that my favorite, gave my name and password and it has worked fine since then.

My old link to the SOFO forum ceased to work so I at first gained entrance to this forum by going to the homepage and support and in that way. Once I got to the login screen I add that to my favorites and it has worked every since. By the way why is the plug for Vegas 4.0b still on the new Sony homepage as it was on the old SOFO page? I thought we all had 4.0c by now.
