What was the OpenGL for again in Vegas ?

Hey,

I remember about two years ago, one of the newest features in products like Boris, After Effects, Premiere and ( I think ) Vegas was the implementation of OpenGL. I went into the Vegas help file and now I can't find a reference to OpenGL.

What was it supposed to do? Was it IN Vegas at all or am I cun-foosed ?

I think you're mistaken. It does accellaterate previews in Boris and probably a few other titles, but I've never heard of Vegas using it. That's why everyone says to buy a cheap video card I think.

Hm,
but I think, maybe some of the 3rd party stuff from Satish uses openGL?
Bob.

wax uses it (i think). I know there was talk about the free copy of particle illusion that previews & renders via OGL, but vegas doesn't use it (yet).
