when music is added a high pitched sound instead of the music is heard

Editing video in Movie Studio 17.0 Platinum. When a music soundtrack is added and played all I hear is a high pitched sound. The same music plays well outside of Movie Studio. Also the music track is flat lined with no peaks. All had been working just fine. I have the latest software update.

Is it MP3 or WAV?

if MP3, try reset your Movie Studio 17 Platinum

You're right it was an MP3 problem. When I converted the music file to .wav it worked fine in the editor. Thanks again.

You're welcome... how about resetting your Movie Studio 17 Platinum, can it solved the problem?

Normally MP3 should also be accepted.
